Satellite Symposium on Gender Disparities in Sleep Diagnostics

This year, Nox Medical will host an important satellite symposium titled Closing the Gender Gap in Sleep Diagnostics.” The session will explore gender disparities in sleep diagnostics, highlighting how OSA presents differently in women and how certain HSATs may lead to misclassification or missed diagnoses, especially in women and those with chronic conditions.

Leading sleep experts will discuss the need for more inclusive diagnostics and share insights from their research, including the latest AI-driven innovation, Nox BodySleep 2.0, designed to close the diagnostic gap and improve home sleep testing for underserved populations.

The symposium is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 10th from 11:45-12:45 in Grand Ballroom D, on the second floor of the Sheraton Grand Seattle.

The discussions will be made available by four excellent speakers:

Alp Sinan Baran, MD
Medical Director, Nox Health
Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, University of Michigan

Monica P. Mallampalli, PhD
President & CEO, Alliance of Sleep Apnea Partners (ASAP)

Nisha Aurora, MD, MHS
Associate Professor of Medicine
Director of Women’s Sleep Medicine Initiatives
Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
NYU Grossman School of Medicine

Chair:
Emerson Kerr, MBA, RRT, FAAST
